New Video Editor For "Sonic & Mario"

Now yes, I know I got Sony Vegas Movie Studio specifically to edit new episodes of the series "Sonic & Mario", but since my brother agreed to edit the series with me beginning in Season 5, he's gotten a new computer and many video editing programs. After convincing me that downloading Vegas Movie Studio on his comp was unnecessary, we found it best to start editing the show on Blender.

Now this doesn't mean that the download of Vegas Movie Studio will go to waste. I'll be slowly learning that as I use it to edit "Spider-Man's Slightly Good Advice". I know I also said I'd be editing "Über Duck" on it as well, but I'm starting to reconsider that. So "Über Duck" is a maybe.

New "Super Wars" Season Written

Another short announcement - today I started and completed writing the fourth Season of my new action figure-based series "Super Wars". It's the shortest of the four seasons so far, totaling only four episodes. The longest season at the moment is ten episodes. Ideas for at least four more seasons are to be written soon.

"Sonic & Mario: The Movie" - Update 4

Hello, everyone. Unfortunate news. Due to me moving, the schedule for "Sonic & Mario" has been delayed, which in turn delays the movie. The release date has been pushed back again from September 26, 2014 to December 26, 2014. I didn't really want to do this but it had to be done. Hopefully the movie won't be delayed any further than that.

"Sonic & Mario: The Movie" - Update 3

So...remember when I said I hope I'll have another update blog soon? Well...here it is.

Just a short thing, but music maker DrMackFoxx (whose piano covers of classic Sonic songs were featured in the four-part Season 2 finale of "Sonic & Mario") has agreed to let me use three original tracks of his for the movie. I've got a basic idea of what I'd like to use them for, and I'm pretty sure I'll stick to what I've got.

"Sonic & Mario: The Movie" - Update 2

Hello there, everyone. This will be kind of a short one since I don't have much to say.

Because YouTube for whatever reason decided to remove the second part of the descriptions on people's channels, I went to WordPad and made myself a nice little document with the SEA Productions schedule. It pretty much just archives the stuff SEA has made with a date and all that jazz, so for instance, Season 1 of "Sonic & Mario" would be listed like this:

"Sonic & Mario" - Season 1:
Episode 1 (June 26, 2009).
Episode 2 (August 14, 2009).
Episode 3 (September 4, 2009).
Episode 4 (September 25, 2009).
Episode 5 (December 28, 2009).

But I realized when rescheduling the spin-offs that I was doing it a little different than what I had wrote down on my YouTube page, which is why this post is being made. Due to the earlier scheduling I am proud to say that the release date for "Sonic & Mario: The Movie" has been moved up from December 26 to September 26, 2014. As the announced dates of this movie (former and present) may imply, I'm trying to get it released on one of the four quarter-year anniversary dates (which would be either March 26, June 26, September 26, or December 26 on the calendar) of the series. I can't exactly guarantee that but it's what I want to do. I will for sure though guarantee a release date on the 26th of whatever month the movie is released. Any other date would kind of be unfitting for the series, in my opinion.

The Nerd Station Is Back!

Ah yes, after many months of technical difficulties, my access to this blog is back.

Coming soon are new announcements regarding SEA-related series and other such things.

This blog is going to contain a few updates for things that have happened since February.

1. The release date for "Sonic & Mario: The Movie" has been pushed back from June 26, 2014 to December 26, 2014 due to certain circumstances involving Season 4 of "Sonic & Mario", which will be updated now.

2. Season 4 of "Sonic & Mario" has certainly had it's ups-and-downs. Windows Movie Maker recently fixed itself, allowing me to edit episodes 29, 30, and 31 and upload them to YouTube so now I can work on all the remaining episodes' scripts, frames, voice acting, all that nice stuff. Movie Maker fixing itself also lets my brother (spriter01) and I have more time to be able to acquaint ourselves to Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It's a very versatile program and a lot of things need to be learned before an episode of "Sonic & Mario" is made using it. The current plan is to release the last five episodes of Season 4 using Movie Maker to edit them, then take the time between then and Season 5 to learn Vegas.

3. A new series, "Super Wars", was announced. The series will be a superhero action figure series featuring Spider-Man, Wolverine, some of the Power Rangers and more. Check out the work-in-progress YouTube channel (and watch the announcement video) at: http://www.youtube.com/user/SuperWarsCentral

New Series Announcement!

I announced a new series today on my YouTube page, called "Spider-Man's Slightly Good Advice", where Spider-Man will answer the problems of YouTube users in a slightly good way. I've been thinking about doing this series and developing it since last April or so.

The way the fans will be able to submit the problem(s) they want Spider-Man to solve will be through the comments section. Up to three problems will be solved per episode, unless if it's a special occasion or something. So basically, the series depends on YouTubers commenting on each episode.

I haven't quite figured out how I'll structure the seasons yet, since there's no running plot throughout the course of the episodes. I'll figure out how to do the seasons soon.

The series is scheduled to premiere on April 18, 2012.
